President Norio Ichino announces in Tokyo on Dec. 6 that the company will put what it says is the world's first commercial residential polymer electrolyte fuel cell cogeneration system on the market, though on a limited scale, on Feb. 8, 2005. The system was developed jointly with Ebara Ballard Corp. and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
